The overall aim of the course is immerse students in questions related to social and environmental responsibility by using, analysing and solving real-world problems provided by case organizations. The students will form groups of 3-4 persons and work with a project for an organisation. Depending on the nature of the project this will entail work at the organisation for e.g. half a day every week over 8 weeks. During the project period they will gather valuable working experience and knowledge about a specific issue in relation to social and/or environmental responsibility.

The course can be taken as part of the Study Module in Corporate Responsibility.

Efter avlagd kurs kan du 
  • apply concepts related to social and environmental responsibility in practice;
  • use relevant decision support models;
  • work in projects and team work more effectively;
  • use methods needed to collect and assess information;
  • orally present projects and their results

Blended learning course


Projects are co-defined with various organisations and include topics with international relevance.


Prior courses (10 ECTS) relevant to the CR study module or equivalent.


The course is executed in close cooperation with firms and other organisations as students solve real-world cases/problems for these.

Non-scheduled work: 225 h (incl. tutoring of groups by faculty and mentoring by the organisation; extensive project work)

All parts of the course need to be passed in the same academic year.

Due to the nature of the course and the projects, students will be selected on the basis of an application. The max number of students is decided by the amount of project organisations (max four students per group).
